Horse Pet Portraits
Welcome to my Portfolio of Horse Pet Portraits I would recommend an aperture size of 12″ x 16″ minimum for horse paintings. Because of their long features this aspect works well. Miniature ponies on the other hand are ok for 12″ x 10″. Once I have received your photo for reference and it is of good quality I can advise which size and aperture will suit it best.
For a complex bridle and tack your quote will be slightly higher. In order to capture your horse at it’s very best I recommend taking photos without any halter or bridle. Please take a look at my Horse Photography Tips page as this may help you to take the perfect photo.
Horse Pet Portraits can be painted with a tonal or blurry scenic background, allowing the horse to stand out and not get lost in busy backgrounds.
