Paintings look so real you want to reach out and touch them

Like many pet artists I love animals and having a dog of our own gives me plenty of inspiration. Capturing your pet’s individual personality so when you look at the painting it will make you smile.

I do not take on too many commission projects in any one month, as I like to spend as much time possible perfecting, and capturing the true essence of your dog, cat or horse. Working as an Artist I want to be able to enjoy my work and feel satisfied and proud of the finished piece.
I have been working as a Pet Portrait Artist professionally part-time since 2005. Working on a commission basis from clients supplied photographs. Many of whom have returned for a second, third, and even more paintings of their beloved pets.

Commissioning a painting is an easy process but the key being the quality of the photo reference. If you need any help capturing the right image you can find some useful guidance on my photography tips page. This page will explain the process of your custom pet portrait.

Personalised Gift Vouchers are available for short notice bookings starting from £60.

Midge Ure receiving his Painting of Mya

As a Pet Portrait Artist UK and living in Bath, Somerset I had the pleasure of meeting Midge Ure, lead singer in the 1980’s pop band Ultravox

Mya is a very shy Husky dog and it took a little bit of patience to get the right photo that I was able to use as a reference for her Dog Painting.

I am now living in Devon UK and working from home predominantly as a Dog Artist from my studio.
