This painting represents Mac a gorgeous bearded collie who is a member of a Dog Agility Club in Scotland. His painting was a collective commission from members as a surprise gift to their trainer. Such a great idea and gift especially to a dog trainer!

The Bearded Collie dog breed was developed in Scotland to herd sheep and cattle in any weather or terrain. They function today as excellent family companions, show dogs and working sheepdogs.
All the collie breeds excel at sports because of their need to please. They make great family pets being energetic, playful and good with children.

I am currently working on an Australian Sheep Dog this week and his name is Dingo. Having just finished a painting of a mare horse named Misty. Next up on the waiting list is a Parrot named Cockoo and according to his owner he a little mischief maker.
Commission work has been pretty busy of late which is great as sometimes during the summer months is can get a little quieter. Definitely not complaining as it means more time to meet friends.
