Devon Dog Artist
Rusty’s owner got in touch as she was looking for a local Dog Artist based in Devon. Very sadly Rusty passed away not too long ago and her owners thought a good way to cherish all the happy memories of her was to commission a realistic.I haven’t done many action shot paintings so really enjoyed having the opportunity to paint from this image.
What stands out in a realistic style is being able to capture the individual character of your pet. Doesn’t Rusty look so happy in this moment, captured in time. Running freely through the field with an almost human smile of her face!
The painting was framed in a beautiful bespoke mottled brown and copper chunky wood frame. With an inner distressed gold rim, which set it off perfectly. This was a frame I had in stock and bought from a Gallery. Art Glass is recommended and even though it is a little more expensive, the cost is really worth it! The clarity is so clear it almost looks as though there is no glass there!
